ADORAble Holiday Activities for You & Your Little Ones

The holidays are a great opportunity to spend extra special time with your little ones, family & friends before everyone goes back to their regular routine. There are so many fun activities to do during the holidays, it can tough deciding which to do first! We've complied a list of activities to do with the kids - both outside and inside because even though we're in Southern California, we know cold temperatures can limit many to indoor activities only! Whether it's having a holiday bake-off or ice-skating at sunset, the last thing you'll hear this holiday season is "Mom, I'm bored!"

Build a Holiday Tent

When it's too cold to go outside and your little ones are tired of watching their favorite holiday movie over & over, what's a parent to do? We've got an activity that will provide hours of fun and the best part? Takes your little ones away from any and all screens! Building a fort/tent will make your little ones smile just as big as they do on Christmas morning.

Little ones can create their own special fort using household items like sheets, pillows & blankets. Once built, they can bring their favorite toys like a baby doll or wooden play set to entertain themselves. Warning: these special forts may end up in a pillow fight between your little ones!

Holiday Bake Off!

What says holidays more than baking with your little ones?! You can turn on your favorite holiday music, put on a red & green apron and get baking! The only activity more fun than baking with the family.. is having a holiday bake off with your family!

To take this activity to the next level, turn into a friendly competition. Whether it's peppermint bark or simple sugar cookies, each team can pick their favorite holiday dessert.

If your little ones love baking more than anything but sometimes you don't have the time to set up all the ingredients for them or deal with the clean up, you'll love our Pretend Play Sweet Baker Set ($29.99)!

Ice Skating at Sunset

Going for a spin at a local ice rink is a quintessential winter activity! If the weather is cooperating, we suggest taking your little ones for a skate at sunset; it's so picturesque, you may even get a contender for your family holiday card!

Ice skating can be difficult to get the hang of but little ones are resilient. Even if they fall down on the ice, they'll get back up and keep going in no time! If your little one love ice-skating, they'll adore our Amazing Girl Ice Skating Ava ($59.99) doll - exclusively on Amazon!

Time to lace up those skates, slip on the mittens and hit the ice!

Holiday Caroling

As Buddy the elf says, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. You don't need to have an angelic voice to enjoy caroling with your little ones this season.

To make caroling extra special this holiday season, invite your little ones friends & parents to join you. The more, the merrier when it comes to caroling! A bonus tip: bring some cookies and a big thermos of hot cocoa so the kids don't get hungry while out and about!
